Floyd Mayweather sat down for an interview on The Pivot podcast, where he was asked about the death of his longtime personal assistant, Marikit 'Kitchie' Laurico.

Kitchie passed away suddenly at the age of 47 in April 2023, and when Mayweather was asked how it affected him, he initially stated, "We don't wanna talk about that," adding, "We're gonna get through this."

Mayweather went on to speak about being close with the people who work for him, stating, "People really wouldn't understand that people like your drivers and your assistants are your best friends. Kitchie was the only person in life that I could talk about anything to. That knew my deepest secrets. There was no male or female in life that I told more stuff to than her."

Speaking about their time together, Mayweather detailed taking her to 100 countries, and he went on to explain how she always had his back. You can hear more above.
