YFN Lucci's attorney, Drew Findling, has criticized the Fulton County legal system for its handling of RICO cases, particularly drawing a comparison to the YSL case. Addressing the lengthy process of jury selection, Findling complained that it was one year in the YSL case due to pointing out jurors' potential hardships without directly asking any basic questions to the jurors. In the YFN Lucci case, however, the process was expedited by integrating potential hardships into a questionnaire. Findling also criticized the practice of focusing on absurdly minor overt acts in RICO cases and lengthy trials, which, he suggests, creates unnecessary burdens for all parties involved. He concluded by expressing frustration at the Fulton County D.A.’s decision to prosecute cases in this old-school manner, arguing that it could backfire if the jury penalizes the parties in the case.
