Kodak Black's attorney and longtime friend, Bradford Cohen, took to Instagram to share news that the Florida rapper will be released from prison by tonight.
Cohen's post read, "Federal Probation terminated with time served. In the Southern District of Florida Judge Maritnez dismissed all substantive counts and Kodak plead to sole violation of failure to report police contact. Time served and he should be released by tonight. With my co counsel @skywriter.esq @kodakblack."
A few days ago, it was revealed that a judge dismissed Kodak's drug possession charge and reinstated his bond from his arrest in December. The incident made headlines, as police reportedly found the rapper passed out behind the wheel of his vehicle. The officers claimed that Kodak had drugs on him when they pulled him over, which was later determined to be oxycodone, of which Kodak has a prescription.
