Griselda Blanco found herself amidst marital discord with her second husband Alberto, which ended in a fatal shootout, as told by Charles Cosby. Blanco, known for her ferocious and assertive personality within the drug world, was concerned about her straying spouse, who was supposedly cheating on her with women in Colombia and Miami. To confront him, Blanco traveled to Miami and proposed a new agreement, primarily wanting a larger share of money as she handled much of their drug operations. Alberto's disdainful response led to a heated argument in a parking lot. Both pulled out guns, and Blanco fatally shot her husband in the face while she was shot in the stomach. She survived the shooting after three weeks in the hospital and returned to Miami.
