During his sit-down on The Breakfast Club on Friday (February 23) morning, French Montana spoke about how Nipsey Hussle's death stopped him from buying his own block.
French explained that watching the video of Nipsey being killed in the parking lot of his store, Marathon Clothing, in South Central Los Angeles, was the most disgusting thing he's ever watched. He added that the incident changed his mind about buying his own block. French stated, "Watching that scared me away from doing the same thing."
French went on to speak about his close friend, rapper Chinx, who was killed in his own borough of Queens, and he added that this also reinstalled that he didn't want to buy back his block in the Bronx. French then spoke about moving to Calabasas, which he says is much safer, despite Charlamagne pointing out that Pop Smoke died in California. You can hear more above.
