Sergeant Nicholas Irving, also known as The Reaper, discussed his life as an ex-Army sniper. Introduced by Shawn Prez as someone who made an impact through his first interview, Irving affirmed that being on the show was unexpected, adding that he had grown up watching Vlad TV and appreciated the opportunity to share his own experiences. He also opened up about the challenges and joys of fatherhood. Irving's parents served in the army, intercepting communications during the Cold War. From a young age, Irving dreamt of following in their footsteps, a journey fueled by Hollywood depictions of military life. However, he acknowledged that reality was often less glamorous, with intense, dangerous situations occurring perhaps 1% of the time. This left indelible mental and emotional marks on soldiers, Irving explained, describing how some atheists in his unit became preachers after experiencing combat.
