Rapper Crunchy Black recently expressed his frustrations about the killing of fellow artist Jam Master Jay during an interview with Shawn Prez. Prez noted that it had been 22 years since Jay's murder and that the trial for his suspected killers was finally underway. In response, Black voiced hope for thorough punishment of the suspects. He shared his distaste of the ongoing violence in the music industry and lamented how difficult it seems to hold individuals accountable. Black also criticised the lack of significant change in individuals who participate in such violent acts. He concluded by urging for a focus on personal growth, emotional development and a broader perspective on life. In doing so, he stressed on the importance of being more loving and less hateful.
