Smush Parker recently discussed his NBA career in an interview with Vlad. After being dropped by Miami Heat, he was picked up by the Clippers who unfortunately did not make the playoffs, leaving Smush sitting for the rest of the season. He had been out of shape due to a broken foot and unpracticed, describing himself as far from his "Gazelle" top form. Despite a few preseason games with the Denver Nuggets, Parker ended his NBA journey, admitting his passion to play at that level was dwindling. However, his basketball journey took him all over the world; playing in China and Russia among many other countries. Despite encountering unsafe conditions and wars, the international recognition and admiration he received were welcomed, although he emphasized that the love of the game was his primary drive. Deepening existing controversy, in 2012, Kobe Bryant publicly belittled Smush's achievements.
