Young Thug has been fighting a RICO case for some time now, and bits and pieces related to his case have been surfacing online. Recently, body camera footage from a 2021 exchange with police surfaced. The rapper was pulled over for allegedly speeding while in Atlanta.
The footage finds Young Thug asking the officer not to give him a ticket, saying, “I don’t think I can take the ticket. I just got my license back.”
Young Thug then jokingly said, “How about I do one hundred push-ups?” which led the officer to say no. From there, Thug said: “Alright, let’s race. Let’s race, and if I beat you, no ticket. If you beat me, $2000.” Watch above.
