Lifetime’s documentary about Wendy Williams’ struggles with alcohol and mental health has been given the green light to air this weekend by a judge.
This decision comes even though Williams' court-appointed guardian had filed a lawsuit against the network's parent company. The guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, claims to be acting on behalf of a party identified as W.W.H., believed to be Wendy Williams Hunter.
The reasons for Morrissey's lawsuit remain unclear as the court documents were sealed. However, it is worth noting that Morrissey had previously sought a temporary restraining order, which is often used to halt the release of a project. The judge's ruling came after Lifetime appeared in court this past Friday.
