DJ Akademiks is now responding to Meek Mill getting on X and firing back at him for allegations made in Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones' lawsuit against Diddy.
In the lawsuit, a rapper's name was redacted and referred to as "A Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj," which led to Akademiks stating that it seems like Meek Mill. Meek Mill told Akademiks to "stop playing with my name" on X, which led to Ak replying, "Wait did you blame me for what a lawsuit said like I just made it up? lol no way."
DJ Akademiks added, "A producer called him and diddy gay. He mad at everybody and addressing everything but that. n**** said i made it up." Akademiks then stated that he feels like Meek is drumming up the attention to sell records. You can read his posts in full above.

Meek Mill was trending on Wednesday morning (February 28) after DJ Akademiks read through Rodney "Lil Rod" Jones' lawsuit against Diddy.
While reading through the accusations Jones, who was a producer on Diddy's Love album, made against the mogul, he came to a part about Diddy allegedly admitting he slept with an unnamed rapper and an unnamed R&B singer. There was a note below that the redacted name of the rapper was "A Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj." The R&B singer is described as someone who "performed at the Superbowl [sic] and had a successful Vegas residency."
DJ Akademiks took the clues for the redacted artists and believed that they were referring to Meek Mill and Usher. This led to Meek trending on social media, and he took to X to respond directly to DJ Akademiks, telling him, "Akademiks didn’t I tell you stop playing with my name… idk what ima do when I actually see you! It’s gonna have a combination to it tho!"
Meek went on to take more shots at Akademiks, and he stated, "I’m independent they know I drop tomar trying to damage control … where I’m From people die for playing with a man’s name." You can check out his messages in full above.
