Former NBA player Smush Parker joined VladTV for a discussion about his life and basketball career. The Brooklyn native talked about growing up with parents who were basketball fanatics. Playing with peers who would go on to become professional players and a connection to NBA champion Kenny Smith led him to get recruited by the University of North Carolina. However, his grades prevented him from attending the college basketball powerhouse. After attending junior college and Fordham, Smush went undrafted in the NBA Draft. After brief stints with multiple NBA teams, Smush eventually landed with the LA Lakers, where he played with Kobe Bryant.
