Cardi B dropped her latest single, "Like What (Freestyle)" on Friday (March 1), which features her rapping over a beat that samples Missy Elliott's "She's a B****."
The track caught the attention of rapper Ski Mask the Slump God, who wrote that the song "sounds kinda familiar." Cardi then responded, writing on X, "Ooo man baby here we go again."
Ski Mask the Slump God then responded on DJ Akademiks' Instagram page, writing, "I Was Talking About The Beat 🤦🏾♂️." He was referring to his 2017 track, "Catch Me Outside," which also samples the same Missy Elliott song. You can check out the back-and-forth above.
