Ayala revealed details of multiple murders he conducted on Blanco's orders, including the notorious deaths of the Lorenzo couple and "Baby Johnny" Castro. He contacted the local attorney’s office, ready to cooperate, and offered first-hand evidence against Blanco. Consequently, a grand jury charged Blanco with these three murders, leading to her facing possible execution. Blanco learned of Ayala's cooperation through a third party and according to Cosby, this news devastated her. Not only was her freedom jeopardized, but she also felt betrayed by Ayala, whom she had trusted and cared for like a son.
