FBG Butta refuted these claims, stating that despite accusations, he did not witness the incident in question, nor did he provide information leading to the suspect. Butta clarified his medical status at the time, revealing he was in a psychiatric ward under heavy medication, which clouds his claim even further. Moreover, FBG Butta insisted that he strictly follows the street code of silence, affirming he did not publicly acknowledge King Von's involvement in the crime until after the latter was killed in an unrelated shooting. The rapper also denied having received any payment for providing information or being an informant, claiming he was approached with such offers but refused.
