Boosie had predicted this outcome due to the nature of Duck's song, 'Dead B*****s,' thus demonstrating the lethal risk of participating in this lifestyle. The convicted men face mandatory life sentences. Speculation surfaced that the murder was commissioned for $100,000, a sum Boosie believes monumental in the hood. Despite Vlad's disbelief at the men's willingness to kill in broad daylight, Boosie asserts it is a mindset cultivated by street culture, where violence is an imminent threat, and survival is precarious.
