Charles Cosby shared his thoughts about the Netflix series "Griselda," starring Sofia Vergara. Cosby had been in talks with HBO about a similar series where Jennifer Lopez was set to star and serve as executive producer. However, this series never aired. Cosby admits to being supportive of Lopez playing Griselda but shares he had no interest in being involved with HBO's series. He threatened legal action against HBO if they included him in any manner. Cosby emphasized that the Netflix series was a fictional portrayal and recognized that both HBO and Netflix had plans for successful productions about Griselda Blanco's life. He also disclosed that Michael Corleone might sue Netflix over his depiction in the series. Charles Cosby seemed satisfied that despite the fictional elements, the Netflix series was very well done and praised its execution.
