In the past, comedian and actor Chris Tucker revealed why he never appeared in sequels for the movie ‘Friday.’ Along with that, Ice Cube revealed he offered Tucker $12 million at one point to return for another iteration of the series. Now, Tucker has taken time to speak candidly about the challenges that would come with making another ‘Friday’ film.
While speaking to Big Tigger for V-103 in Atlanta, Tucker cited the studios and producers who make the process challenging, saying, “It’s studios, and they got to want to do it, and then it’s uh producers and all that stuff.”
Tucker then said, “it’s a lot, it’s a lot that goes with it.” From there, Tucker noted he wants to be in a space where he can create freely while on set, as that mindset actually led to a lot of the best moments in the first ‘Friday’ film. Watch above.
