Reports noted that fans are upset over Kanye West and Ty Dolla Sign's decision to perform pre-recorded tracks while at the Rolling Loud Festival. One fan in particular, Neil Wagner, spoke to Fox Los Angeles about disappointment with their set.
Wagner noted when he arrived at the Rolling Loud festival, he, like many others, was met with chaos and confusion. The event staff seemed disorganized and overwhelmed, leaving attendees like Neil feeling lost and frustrated. The line to get into the stadium was not moving, and by the time the show was supposed to start, Neil had been waiting for nearly two hours with no end in sight.
When Neil finally heard his favorite song from Kanye's new album playing from inside the stadium, he realized that Kanye and his partner, Ty Dolla Sign, were not actually performing live. Instead, they were simply standing on stage while pre-recorded music played. This revelation left Neil feeling disappointed and betrayed, as he had paid $300 to see Kanye perform, not just stand on stage. In the aftermath of the festival, Neil has expressed his frustration and disappointment with Rolling Loud's organizers. He believes that they should acknowledge the mishap and apologize to fans like him who felt disregarded and ignored.
As of now, Rolling Loud has not responded to requests for comments on the incident.
