Terrance Williams opened up about his approach to disrespect and avoiding turning to violence. Reflecting on his prison experiences, he stated that he thinks about the consequences before reacting impulsively to provocation. Explaining his decision to avoid resorting to violence, even when disrespected, he stated that he chooses to let things go so as not to re-enter the cycle of serving time. Terrance expressed a strong desire to continue on his path of change, acknowledging that the past version of him was more prone to reacting violently. He elaborated that if someone were to assault him publicly, he would be inclined to respond due to societal pressures but maintained that he would not resort to lethal violence as he has grown past that phase of his life.
