Aries Spears discussed fellow comedian Michael Blackson's critique of his 'kissing man' skit. Blackson deemed the skit, which involved Spears kissing another man, as "disgusting and nasty." Blackson also clarified he would not have partaken in a skit of such nature. Aries, taking the critique in stride, mentioned Blackson's entitled to his opinion. Aries further brought to light the sensitivity of non-heteronormative relations in certain communities, stating that in places like Africa and the Middle East, people may be killed over such matters. As he advocates, he does not support such practices, stating that one should have the freedom to express their sexual preferences without fear of persecution.
