Michael Corleone Blanco, son of the infamous Colombian drug lord Griselda Blanco, dispelled myths about his family's past. Michael rejects the widely circulated story that his mother killed her husband Alberto after he cheated on her, stating they were just best friends. He notes Alberto played an important role in their illegal operations due to his connections from his time in the Navy. Michael's father, Dario Sepulveda, was introduced to his mother as she sought protection for her burgeoning cocaine business. Michael also corrects inaccuracies of his mother's life portrayed in Netflix productions, stating they are make-believe and considering the story deserved better treatment. He confirms his unique name was coincidentally suggested by an uncle, also a fan of The Godfather movie series, revealing that the name was later removed legally from his Colombian birth certificate.
