Michael Corleone Blanco revealed that it was his mother, Griselda Blanco, who initiated infamous drug lord Pablo Escobar's career in narcotics. Blanco explained that during the early years of Griselda's operations in New York, Escobar was an ordinary car and cemetery thief, pilfering graves and stealing plots for resale. Escobar entered the drug business under Griselda's tutelage, operating under her permission and guidance. Blanco revealed that tensions between his mother and Escobar emerged, particularly when the latter tried to control routes without Griselda's approval. Despite this, Escobar became successful in the drug business, reportedly making his first million dollars via a shipment of 100 kilos with Griselda's help.
