Former NBA player Sebastian Telfair weighed in on 19-year-old Bronny James’ readiness for the NBA. While acknowledging Bronny's disappointing recent season at USC, Telfair strongly advocated for his potential in the NBA. Highlighting Bronny's skillset, including his shooting, free throw ability, and successful play execution, Telfair dismissed critics’ evaluation based on his most recent performance, also impacted by a heart condition that sidelined Bronny. He stated that Bronny has been training like a professional for years and should not be denied the opportunity to play in the NBA. If Bronny does make it into the NBA, it would be a first for a father and son to be concurrently active in the league. Telfair urged Bronny to disregard the negativity and work towards the opportunity he deserves.
