Hip-Hop personality Akademiks has claimed that rapper Meek Mill threatened to kill him after misinterpreting his coverage of an ongoing lawsuit. In the lawsuit related to Diddy, Akademiks discussed on his livestream the allegations implicating Meek Mill, based on presented evidence suggesting that a Philly rapper dating Nicki Minaj could be involved. Akademiks explained that he dissected the lawsuit to offer an in-depth view, stressing he didn’t fabricate the lawsuit. However, he argued that Meek Mill saw his reaction, misconstrued it as creating the lawsuit, and subsequently threatened him. Despite calming down tensions previously, the rapper allegedly asked for Akademiks' address and stated he would risk his life to silence him. Akademiks criticizes Meek Mill's behavior, reminding that the rapper's prosperous life is in contrast with his violent threats. He suggests that Meek Mill’s threats are a façade to maintain his credibility in his hometown.
