In this clip, Adam22 defended his legitimacy in the rap industry after Van Lathan's comment that Black people don't check for his show, No Jumper. Adam and Vlad discussed their experiences in the rap culture, where they noticed a mismatch in public perception and actual fan popularity. Often, they go out with security, not to protect themselves from haters, but to manage their fans. Adam revealed that he prefers interviewing underground artists rather than big names. Adam acknowledges that, as a prominent figure in hip hop, there are expectations to have in-depth information about the genre. Even though he doesn't consider himself an authority on hip-hop, he explains his purpose is to entertain and educate the listeners. The hosts traded knowledge about the origins of the 808 drum machine and agreed that deep knowledge of hip-hop trivia is not a prerequisite to being active in the culture.
