In regards to the O-Block 6 trial, Trenches News voiced his desire to take the stand to contribute to the pursuit of justice. Influenced by the grief of significant losses in the community, he decided to participate in the trial despite fear of being labeled a snitch. He expressed frustration towards people who prioritize harming his reputation rather than concerning themselves with the welfare of the community. His testimony underwent scrutiny by defense attorneys due to contradictions between his YouTube video and grand jury testimony. On YouTube, he claimed he couldn’t identify the gunmen, but in his testimony, he suggested recognizing the defendants from surveillance footage. However, Trenches claims his ability to identify the assailants was limited, and only possible when they returned to the scene later.
