Vlad dished the dirt on his unreleased interview with Mo'Nique and cited her husband as the main reason for the conflict. He claimed that after Mo'Nique and her husband were given a release form, they requested ownership of the footage, which Vlad pointed out was a strange demand since they did not hold similar rights on other platforms. A back-and-forth followed, leading to their lawyer issuing a cease-and-desist order against Vlad. He also dropped hints that a question about the couple's relationship and the possibility of Mo'Nique’s husband being homosexual may have instigated the reaction. Despite these claims, Vlad added that he did not wish to assert any claims about Mo'Nique's husband's sexual orientation.
