Simpson attended with a mix of companions, initially sitting between two White girls before switching to two Black girls during the show, which Owen found amusing.
Post-show, Owen interacted with Simpson at the bar, describing him as unexpectedly charming and engaging in conversations about past NFL games. Despite Simpson's controversial history, Owen remarked on forgetting Simpson’s infamous past due to his charismatic personality. Owen also humorously noted the large size of Simpson's head, comparing it to Yao Ming's.
