Comedian Ms. Pat recounted the trauma she endured as a child when a married man named Mr. John preyed on her. At just ten years old, Ms. Pat was groomed by Mr. John, who initially appeared generous by providing her struggling family with food and financial support. Despite knowing he was married, her mother welcomed him into their home, unaware then unwilling to acknowledge the abuse. Ms. Pat courageously shared how Mr. John’s abuse only ceased when she got a boyfriend.
