Part 1: Terrance Gangsta Williams on People Saying He Looks Like Mannie Fresh, OG Giggity Nickname

Terrance "Gangsta" Williams, who spent 23 years in federal prison, shared insights about the prevalence of homosexuality behind bars. Williams estimated that around 30% of male inmates engage in homosexual activities during their incarceration. This significant number stems from the unique environment in federal prisons, where there are distinct "homosexual dormitories" and even commissary items like lipstick and bras available for purchase.

Williams explained that perceptions of what constitutes homosexual behavior can vary; for some, certain acts don't classify them as gay. However, he was clear that any intimate interaction between men is considered homosexual to him. Despite the activities, a substantial stigma remains. Some inmates still refuse to associate with those known to engage in these acts, while others show favoritism, even allowing such individuals to join them at social gatherings.
