Dwight "Doc" Gooden, former MLB star, opened up about a troubling chapter in his past. After an incident in which he was assaulted by the police, Gooden and his cousin initially planned to seek revenge on the police. Reflecting on the moment, Gooden admitted feeling embarrassed about his thoughts of retaliation and is grateful he ultimately decided against it. Gooden later sued the Tampa Police Department in civil court and was awarded $3 million. Despite the financial compensation, Gooden emphasized that the emotional scars linger.
