Martin Shkreli addressed rumors about the government seizing his highly prized $1.5 million Wu-Tang Clan album. Shkreli clarified several misconceptions regarding his assets during his legal battles. Shkreli confirmed he attempted to sell the album on eBay, but the effort did not materialize. When asked about his assets, including the Wu-Tang album, Shkreli explained that while all his assets were encumbered due to his $8 million debt to the government, ownership was not immediately transferred. Despite media claims that the government took his assets, Shkreli clarified the situation. Contrary to popular belief, Shkreli did not lose the album but sold it during the NFT boom. He also mentioned that valuable items like his Picasso painting were similarly encumbered but not directly seized, remaining in storage.
