Former mob associate Gene Borrello opened up about his violent past involving loan shark operations within organized crime. Borrello detailed a brutal encounter with a man named Simon, who had borrowed substantial amounts of money from Borrello’s affiliate, Ronald "Ronnie G" Giallanzo, a formidable figure in the loan sharking business. Simon owed $250,000 and was consistently short on payments, stirring Ronnie's wrath. Despite warnings, Simon continued to miss payments, prompting Borrello and Ronnie to take drastic measures. They confronted Simon at a local bagel store and ruthlessly beat him until he defecated on himself out of fear.

Borrello recounted the harrowing ordeal where he had to take Simon, humiliated and injured, back to his family and forcefully obtain a list of debts. Ultimately, Ronnie coerced Simon into selling his home to settle the debt. Borrello emphasized the necessity of such brutal actions to uphold the fear and respect essential for maintaining control in the criminal world.
