--------

Former organized crime boss Anthony Arillotta discussed the involvement of his past crew member, Freddy Geas, in the brutal murder of notorious mobster Whitey Bulger. Bulger, who was convicted of 31 counts, including racketeering and 11 murders, was transferred to Hazelton Penitentiary in 2018. Within hours of his arrival, Bulger was savagely beaten to death by inmates. Arillotta detailed his long-standing connection with Geas. Initially meeting through Geas' brother in 1990, Arillotta and Geas found camaraderie in their shared criminal endeavors. Geas, a former prison guard turned criminal, joined Arillotta in various illicit activities. However, Geas' imprisonment in the late 90s hardened him, making him more aligned with violent gangsters.
