Maino clarified that initial reports wrongly linked him to the incident, asserting he had no involvement in the altercation that occurred. He emphasized that misinformation spread quickly and needed to be corrected. Maino also revealed a personal connection to the incident: his ex-girlfriend was unintentionally shot that night. Reflecting on his past, Maino shared that growing up around gun violence has made him witness and partake in several accidental shootings, including an incident where he mistakenly shot a friend at the age of 14. Speaking on these experiences, he cited the chaotic nature of living a life entangled with firearms.
