Part 1: X-Raided on Becoming a Garden Blocc Crip, VladTV Interview Helping Him Get Out of Prison

--------

Sacramento rapper X-Raided delves deep into his past affiliation with gang culture and his transformation through music. Growing up entrenched with the Crips, X-Raided recounts the pressures and rewards linked to gang activities, including an incident where his mother, affectionately called "Mama Smurf," rewarded him with new clothes after he was briefly jailed for planning to confront rivals. Reflecting on his earlier statements, X-Raided reiterates his view that gangs are “parasitic organisms” that thrive at the expense of their members. He vividly describes how these groups continue to perpetuate violence and crime, resulting in many lives being metaphorically replaced by new recruits. Despite his tumultuous past, X-Raided’s passion for rap offered him a creative outlet. Influenced by legends like Too Short and Ice-T, he began crafting rhymes and laying down tracks, ultimately developing into a compelling artist.
