Despite these setbacks, Spice has made impressive strides with her latest album, "Mirror 25," debuting at number one on multiple charts, becoming the first female Jamaican artist to achieve this milestone. Addressing industry gatekeeping, Spice stressed the importance of radio DJs and selectors in her genre, who have been a barrier in her career. She remains undeterred, focusing on promoting her 25-track album which she regards as a "masterpiece" with diverse topics and sounds.

Spice also reflected on the long-standing dominance of Bob Marley in reggae charts, emphasizing that his legacy highlights the continued need for innovation within the genre. She acknowledged that while Marley’s timeless music and message set an unparalleled standard, the ongoing prominence of his work signifies that newer artists still have significant ground to cover.
