Part 2: Oschino on Doing 40 Robberies, 1st Robbery at Age 9
--------
Oschino, a notable figure from the Roc-A-Fella dynasty, sat down with VladTV to share his poignant story of growing up in North Philadelphia during the crack epidemic. Born to parents who were ensnared by the drug crisis, Oschino's upbringing was marred by addiction and instability. His father, 20 years older than his mother, introduced her to crack, leading to a tumultuous home environment. At just six years old, Oschino became aware of his parents' addiction, which eventually resulted in his placement in foster care by the age of nine. Moving in with his grandmother only added to his sense of abandonment. Both his mother’s and grandmother’s inability to care for him due to their disdain for his father left Oschino feeling unwanted. Navigating the perils of North Philly, infamously dubbed "Beirut," exposed Oschino to daily violence and hardship, further complicating his formative years.
