Part 1: Ken Shamrock on How He Became "The World's Most Dangerous Man"

--------

MMA legend Ken Shamrock opened up about his early training days with Paige VanZant, revealing his pivotal role in her development. Shamrock initially worked with VanZant when she was struggling with bullying in high school. She approached him with her parents, seeking help to build confidence and defend herself. Shamrock emphasized his training was for self-defense, not revenge. Within a year and a half, VanZant expressed a desire to fight professionally at 17, but Shamrock advised her to wait until she completed high school for a more structured career buildup. Despite his advice, VanZant chose to pursue fighting elsewhere. Shamrock believes she entered the professional arena too soon and might have had greater success with more gradual progression. While he supports women's MMA, Shamrock admits he's not comfortable watching women fight, although he believes they should have the opportunity if they have a passion for it.
