Part 2: Bricc Baby on Meeting Eric Holder, Eric Joining Crips, Why They Have Same "S****y Cuz" Name

--------

South Central native Bricc Baby delved into his journey of becoming a Rollin' 60s Neighborhood Crip. Reflecting on his tumultuous upbringing, Bricc detailed his split childhood between Crenshaw and Jefferson, where his family were avid hustlers. He disclosed that while his mother initially veered away from gang activities, she resorted to fraud as a means to escape poverty. His father, however, was entrenched in gang culture from the beginning, especially during the rise of local gangs.

Bricc Baby’s early experiences drastically shaped his life. He recounted harrowing memories, including rescuing his aunts from crack houses. Witnessing substance abuse within his family presented a stark contrast to the hustler lifestyle, leaving a lasting impression on him. Despite these challenges, Bricc found himself drawn to gang life at an early age. By the age of ten, he was already tagging walls, solidifying his path as a Crip.
