Bricc Baby shed light on his tumultuous upbringing, intertwined with crime and family connections. Around 1995, at the young age of seven, his mother was indicted for conspiracy involving two tons of coke. Bricc Baby also explained how he acquired his name, initially branded as "S****y" or "S****y Cuz." This nickname surfaced when Eric Holder, another figure in the neighborhood, attempted to join the Crips. Bricc recalls the process, noting that both he and Eric adopted the "S****y Cuz" moniker—a term imbued with local significance at the time. Ultimately, Bricc Baby transitioned his identity to reflect his heritage and upbringing, choosing "Bricc Baby" to honor his family's involvement in the drug trade.
