Barone explains how his father taught him the ins and outs of loan sharking, a practice involving loaning money at exorbitant interest rates. As Barone reflects, his father's influence led him into a life of crime from a young age, starting at around 17 or 18. He describes the harsh realities and dangerous implications of loan sharking, where fear and intimidation were used to ensure payments. Beyond loan sharking, Barone reveals that his father was involved in four murders.
