Johnny Mitchell recounted his involvement in large-scale distribution, revealing the intricacies of his most significant deal, which involved shipping over 1,000 pounds primarily through FedEx. During a period of decreasing wholesale prices, Mitchell leveraged competitive rates among growing groups, securing pounds at about $2,200 each and selling them for approximately $3,500. Rather than conventional transport methods used by major operations like BMF, Mitchell opted for a simpler yet risky FedEx approach, believing the layers of separation—such as fake names and minimal physical handling—offered protection. Despite the apparent audacity of using FedEx, Mitchell noted only a small fraction of shipments were intercepted.
