Throughout the creative process, Matisyahu was captivated by YoungBoy’s exceptional talent, noting the rapper’s unique voice and lyrical flow. Despite NBA YoungBoy's legal troubles, which included a 27-month sentence for serious charges, Matisyahu expressed empathy and admiration, hoping the young rapper will ultimately navigate through his personal challenges.
