Johnny Mitchell opened up about his journey from dealing mari***na to exploring avenues for money laundering and legitimate business investments. Following a raid on his stash house where police found five pounds, Mitchell took the fall to protect his friends with promising futures. Despite the legal brush, he continued his operations, ultimately earning around $50,000 weekly. His attempt to launder money by purchasing land in Colombia fell through, driving him to the U.S. to explore new avenues. Mitchell described his unconventional methods of hiding cash, including stashing money in his parents’ garden and losing $40,000 of it when his mother unknowingly threw out a trash bag containing the cash. Realizing the need for clean money, Mitchell diversified his investments, from promoting concerts—such as a pre-fame Nipsey Hussle show—to reselling sneakers, and establishing an LLC.
