Maven Huffman opened up about his struggles after leaving the wrestling spotlight. Once celebrated for his time in the ring, Maven revealed his difficult battle with opioid addiction following his wrestling career. He tried entering rehab in 2007, but found success only after going on a Suboxone program, which assisted him in overcoming his dependency. Maven's career shift wasn't limited to overcoming addiction. He recounted working humbling jobs, including that of a bouncer, to make ends meet during trying financial times. The downturn also led to the auctioning of his WWE memorabilia, including his "Tough Enough" trophy. However, a silver lining appeared when the auction winners reached out, offering to return his irreplaceable personal items.
