Part 2: Lul Tim on Catching Gun Charge at 17, Never Joining Rollin 60s Crips But Living Around Them

--------

Lul Tim discusses his journey from growing up on the east side of Savannah to becoming embroiled in street life and how he met his close friends, Quando Rondo and Lul Pab. Lul Tim recalls his childhood when he was raised by his mother and grandmother and how, despite not living in poverty, he felt the pressure of wanting more. He initially focused on sports like football, basketball, and track but slowly drifted toward the streets in middle school. Lul Tim admitted to engaging in activities he shouldn't have, driven by a desire for material possessions that his family couldn't always provide. Tim met Quando Rondo during his early high school years, bonding over shared experiences and growing together as Rondo pursued his rap career. Despite a rough upbringing, Rondo was already making waves in Savannah's music scene. Lul Tim also talks about meeting Lul Pab at around 11 or 12 and describes Pab as a hustler focused on family.
