Billy Garland, the father of iconic rapper Tupac Shakur, spoke about the emotional moment he reunited with his son in a hospital after Tupac was shot in New York City. Discussing the events surrounding the attack at Quad Studios, Garland described his determination to see Tupac, despite initially being denied entry by hospital staff who falsely claimed that Tupac's father was deceased. Fortunately, Afeni Shakur, Tupac's mother, happened to pass by and confirmed Garland's identity, allowing him to visit his son.
Garland recounted the poignant encounter, comparing it to a powerful scene from "The Godfather." In the hospital room, Garland assured Tupac of his support. The rapper was conscious but vulnerable, and Garland mentioned concerns about Tupac's safety, emphasizing his son's apprehension that his shooters might return. Interestingly, Garland noted that Biggie Smalls was present, reinforcing his belief that Biggie had no involvement in the shooting.
