Green claimed that nobody wanted to fight Tyson as he was not facing contenders, and he questioned why he was receiving significantly less compensation. The fight, which unfolded at Madison Square Garden, left Green feeling duped by King, rather than angry at Tyson. Despite being underprepared due to lack of proper sparring, Green managed to go the distance with Tyson, highlighting his performance as more dominant than the public perceived. Green continues to pursue legal action against King, accusing him of foul play and suggesting his phone and home were bugged during the contract disputes.
